Responsible Business Practices
Sound Music Instruction is committed to environmentally and socially responsible business practices.
All our advertising materials are printed using 100% post-consumer recycled content paper and northwest-produced soy-based ink.
We offer our teachers extra incentives to utilize alternative fuel powered automobiles and other ecologically sound transportation. Some of our teachers even ride their bicycles to their lessons!
We donate one percent of our annual profits to help fight global warming and promote ecologically sound practices.
We donate an additional 1 percent of our profits to Seattle Improvised Music, a Seattle-based non-profit arts organization.
Whenever possible, we offer partial and complete scholarships to students whose families find it difficult to fit the cost of piano lessons into their budget.
